When The Mad Hatter comes to your home to clean your air duct system,
the first step is a walk through your home to locate all supply and return
vent openings as well as your furnace. Our techs will remove all supply
and return covers for cleaning as well as access to each opening and to
block airflow with foam or cover. We will then connect our 20 HP Negative
Air Vacuum system that moves 5000 cubic feet of air per minute, to your
system via best means possible. We then go to the furthest point in the
home proceeding to each vent opening with our Viper Clean Sweep system
that operates on compressed air at 100 p. s. i. through small jets and
a rubber whip that blasts dust, dirt and debris towards our big vacuum
and OUT of your home. This is repeated at all vents, returns and main
trunk lines throughout your entire system. The Mad Hatter will then use
a mild sanitizer throughout the system as well as vacuum out the furnace
compartment. The National Air Duct Cleaning Association recommends cleaning
the A-Coil of your system if possible as this is where a lot of particulate
matter seems to collect. This can not only potentially re-enter your system
but can also lessen its efficiency. Coil cleaning is at additional charge
and is dependant on our ability to access it as some furnace manufactures
and installations may not allow it. The Mad Hatter will then replace all
vents and return covers leaving you with improved indoor air quality so
you can breathe with ease. We do recommend a filter change at this time
as well.
