Preparing for Your Chimney Appointment
Spring and summer are the best times for non-emergency chimney repair and preventive maintenance. From October through January, The Mad Hatter appointment calendar is usually booked up to one month in advance, making an “off-peak” appointment your best option.
Before Your Appointment…
24 hours before your appointment, remember to stop using your fireplace, wood stove, or gas appliance. For safety’s sake, we need to work with an appliance that is completely cool.
The Day of Your Appointment, Remember To…
Remove fragile or precious items from the area near the fireplace. We need about 5 to 6 ft around the fireplace to be clear in order to get our equipment in place. Watch us work, if you’d like! Customers learn a great deal about chimney safety from watching us work, so we encourage it.
What Payment Methods Do We Accept?
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, local checks with a valid Indiana drivers license, and the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
